• Several small incisions are made below the belly button and the laparoscope is entered. Other incisions are made and it is through these that other instruments are entered and they cut up and remove the ovaries. A small incision is made at the top of the vagina and the ovaries are removed through this gap. The vaginal cuff is sutured and the incisions are all closed.
